Discovering Japan! – 25/09/2018
Yesterday was a special day for our company, as we welcomed in our new shop at Theater Street, the artistic director of d’Uomo ex Machina, and a member of the Board of Directors of UNESCO’s International Playwrights’ Forum of the International Theater Institute IPF/ ITI UNESCO Mr. Atsushi Kakumoto, in a business meeting prepared by our General Manager, Konstantinos Kekkas. The two men’s love for the theater brought them together during the Analogue Festival 2018 with the theme ‘Poetry and Politics in Modern Theater’.
During the meeting, our Director of Communications and Business Development, Mario Chatzidamianos, presented to Mr. Kakumoto the company’s design, which aims to produce one of its scenario-games in Japan in 2020, under the framework of the Olympic Games that will be conducted in Tokyo. He also presented to him the methodology of developing the content of our scenarios, part of which focuses on utilizing Gardner’s multiple intelligence theory to discover and record cases of individuals performing more than two basic (linguistic-logical/mathematic) intelligences during the games.
Mr. Kakumoto positively commented on the company’s originality, regarding the company’s methodology of developing the content of its games, especially regarding the placement of audio as a key component through which the structure of the scripts is developed, and informed us that this technical approach is also part of his own methodology in theatrical artistic expression.
The two sides agreed to exchange additional information material in order to achieve synergy, for the facilitation of the development of our company activities in Japan.
